Volume not saving

Hi all, new to the forum so not sure if this is how to ask for help but I’m trying to increase the volume of one of my sounds . It sounds best at 200%, I can set it to that but once I close the program it resets to 100%. Is there a way to save the 200% volume without leaving the program open 24/7.

Which version do you use?
Tested in 5.7.2, jingle volume is saved well.

Don't forget, any changed applied to jingles requires palette saving (click on the Floppy icon that appears in the display when you applying some changes) to be kept between sessions (or palette change).

I’m using 5.7.2, the max 100% square is showing up red if that makes a difference. I’ve just tried it again after saving the palette and closing the program but it still resets to 100% and no reverb

I tested again, even with reverb, both are saved well here, once palette has been saved.
Has your jingle palette installation folder write permissions? Can you send here your palette.ini file (usually located in C:\Program Files(x86)\Jingle Palette)?
The "100%" button is there to recall the volume to its max without clipping. When it is red, it means the sound of the jingle will be clipped with the applied volume.

I’m replying on mobile but I’ve got the file up, can I just edit the max volume of the sound in this file?

Hmm, the file is missing (or I did not understood your message lol).

The "Max" volume is calculated by the software, that measuering the highest level point of the audio file.

Sorry this is the first time I’ve ever posted in a forum so I’m new to all of it, I think I’ll leave the program open instead of exiting when I’m finished. That seems to keep all the settings saved for my sounds then. Thankyou anyway for the help
