MIDI does not trigger jingles

On my systems there is no chance to get the jingles started over midi. Midi is activated in settings, tried different midi controllers and computers but no chance. the jingles won't start.
In the midi menu there are shown the correct values for push and release and the "jingle button" rectangle switches between red and green but no start of the jingle at all.

I don't know what answering you, especially if button turns green when you hit the controller.

Have you velocity on your controllers ?

Yes Velocity is fixed 127. I assign the jingle to the slot, then assign the midi note and after assigning the midi note the button changes its name from the jingle name to "button name".

Hmmm, I can reproduce the problem. This should be fixed for the next version.
By waiting, a workaround consists to change/reload the palette after MIDI assigning: the jingle comes back and the button can be triggered with the MIDI controller.
I just tested with my Novation LaunchPad S.
