5.6.2. Main output volume midi fader under-controlled

Post by tobyasz »

Hi,

This is a great program! Thank you for your work!
When using the Behringer x-touch mini midi, if the fader is assigned to the central volume, then when reducing the volume, the volume only starts to decrease significantly when it is reduced to 40-30%. Do you know why this is?

Has anyone encountered this phenomenon? Thank you very much

Hi,

I don't know this controller at all.

Jingle Palette's faders are controlled for a range from 00 to 7F (0 to 127), make sure that your controller fader acts in the same range for its entire stroke.
You can see MIDI messages received from your controller, in the MIDI learning window when you click on the MIDI button near from the Main volume fader in the Settings/Audio.

The "velocity" byte should change (on fader moving) between 00 to 7F.
For example, with my KORG NanoKontrol, the first fader, in Scene 1, send codes from B00200 to B0027F.
