Hi,

Passed some hours to install Wine on a Linux virtual machine, but can not run jingle palette setup, or even jingle palette.exe (ShellExecute erro...), I give up...

However, the error you got is related to the web browser used to display updates change logs. It looks that is a problem of/with Internet Explorer on Wine.
You can uncheck the Check update (and support forum notifications, if required account has been filled and verified) on startup option so web browser will be not called.

No more research will be done about using Jingle Palette on Linux/Wine. Sorry

Thank for investigating the issue. Now, after installing IE8 on Wine and some dll's - everything works as expected.
The only small problem is the font background on the buttons - I think it's another Wine issue.
Apart of this, your software is running perfectly, many thanks for developing it!

Just by curiosity, is the label's problem of buttons of main window also there on buttons of Settings window ?
