Pre-Release v5.7.0 MIDI Out and more

Hi peoples,

Here is the first pre-release version of 5.7.

This version includes some good stuff like External source, MIDI Out, to drive button's LEDs of your controler, and also if you want to use Jingle Palette as MIDI controler, to drive a third party software, through a Virtual MIDI Cable, like loopMIDI. It includes a Minimal View mode so you can reduce the lower area and customize it, for small screens, joined jingle buttons etc.

- Audio devices are listed in the dropdown list of Ext. source tab, so you could play audio output from third party software (like iTunes, Winamp..., through a virtual audio cable) and use Auto-Ducking on playing jingles
- Audio devices configuration checking to prevent of same device selected for Main and Aux devices
- Automatically sorting settings parameters in jp.ini if file has been modified on exit, helping to find parameter for manual edit by advanced users (changes nothing for standard users)

- Last used monitor (on multiple monitors machine) memorized on exit, so Jingle Palette is displayed on it on next startup
- MIDI output for MIDI devices so you can light buttons on several events (press, release, activated, etc)
- MIDI output to send MIDI messages from jingles and Stop All buttons, for controlling a third party software like OBS Studio, etc. through a virtual MIDI Port, like loopMIDI
- Main window (not maximized) can be moved by click&drag the background and resized with borders (between window borders and frames)
- Option to make jingle buttons joined with a small spacing between Jingles and Hot Jingles areas
- Option to switch the bottom area between normal and customizable minimalist view, leaving more room for jingle buttons, useful especially on small monitors
- Option where playing a jingle prevents other jingles from playing until the countdown reaches 0.00 seconds. This option is a part of toggle of Auto Mix button (Normal > Auto mix > Single mode)
- Shortcut (ALT + C) to launch "myscript.bat" (in the application folder), for advanced users who want to trigger a DOS script from Jingle Palette
- Shortcut (F10) to toggle Hot Jingles display (Top > Bottom > Hidden) on each press
- Shortcut (F9) to toggle bottom area (Normal view > Minimal view at bottom > Minimal view at top) on each press
- Stop position to trigger the playback stop or fade out
- Volume multiplicator for Ext. source to increase up to 8 times the original volume
- Window to show the list of keyboard shortcuts (F1). The help manual still reachable by a second hit on F1
Changed:
- All settings are now saved in jp.ini on exiting Jingle Palette only
- Automatically hides second's hundredths from display if not enough room to draw them (in normal view only, when the main window's width is inferior to 883px)
- Executing Jingle Palette from network path (like \\192.168...) should be OK, which could be useful for radio stations that are using Jingle Palette on several machines, and want to have the sames palettes and jingles everywhere
- F11 now toggles between 3 modes (Windowed > Maximized > Fullscreen) on each press
- Improved search box so you can see found jingles from a palette without loading the palette. Clicking on a jingle in the search result makes only this jingle blinking on the palette
- Installer sequence so now asks the installatation path before components choice, and installs Demo jingles by default if the installataion path has no palette.ini file . Some warnings on selecting components has been added too.
- More reliable filename extension filter so unallowed extensions are no longer loaded
- Operating System (Windows) version detection (should be more accurate) for error reporting
- Remaining time bar now covers for all its width, from Start position and Stop + Fade out time position
- Restored hourglass icon (displayed while loading palette)
- Streams addresses are alphabetically sorted by domains/IPs, regardless if they are http or https
- Window size measurement method (so bottom and right margin settings are no longuer used, removed from Configuration settings)
Fixed:
- Auxiliary output device defined on "None" at startup on some configurations
- Error on open Settings, where a Jingle label font no longer exists on the Operating System. It will select a default font instead.
- Error that can occur at startup on ClockUpdate internal function
- External source (ex Play stream) Auto-Ducking was not taking in account, the stream volume -So if stream was @50% volume, attenuated volume when auto-ducking was not resulting to 15% (attenuated volulme) of 50%, but 15%
- Last window size and position was not saved if windows was maximized/fullscreen before exiting
- Main window was not focused at startup
- Out of range error on non valid/corrupted palette.ini file (not empty but without any section)
- Overflow error in TimerControlFlash
- Test buttons for sequential mode loop points was doing nothing is playback was not already active
- Unable to restore window if minimized to taskbar on some machines. Window is restored in last state before minimizing, after exiting in minimized state
Removed:
- Selecting another MIDI device automatically if previously selected is no longer available
- Time announce signal no longer been reset on Reset settings
