Hi Neil ,

I encountered this error when I try to save a palette, where I repalced a jingle by a jingle (frm another location) with the same filename (for example, I applied some audio changes on the jingle file with an audio editor, and I loaded it on the palette to reload it).
In fact, jingles files of a loaded palette are locked in Windows, so on palette saving, JP can not overwrite lockef files.

The workaround to save a palette, where a jingle with a same filename of existing one for replace, is first, clear the button , save the palette, load the new jingle, save the palette.

I'm a little busy these times but I didn't found yet a fix for this.

Otherwise (you are not repalcing an existing jingle), perhaps you have some problems with Windows permissions (write access) ?

Hope it will help you for the moment :)

Just had the same problem - glad I read this before posting. I was performing the same process that Neil was.

I'll try your steps Couin, thanks for the info!

Hi Dave,

Was you replacing a jingle of a palette, for the same filename ?
