Older versions downloads ?

Hi,
I was using version 5.3.2 before and it worked perfect on my laptop.
When i opend it now, it asked to upgrade, so i did.
Bud now it doesn't work !!
The jingles (mp3's) i load won't play.
I checked the audio settings bud all is right i think.
Can i download previous versions like 5.3.2 from somewhere ?
So that i can have a working version again ..

Hi Luc,

Older versions are no longer available as public download. I will update it as private download this week-end, but it would be better to search what is the proble with the updated version (it should be 5.7.2).
When you say won't play, is it just only no sound, but the display counts down the remaining time to play of the jingle? Or the button doesn't not trigger at all?
Can you try to load a jingle, save the palette, and reload the palette? Is the recently loaded jingle plays when you hit its button?
I just downloaded and installed v5.7.2 on a PC, loaded a mp3 file, and it plays without problem (even without having to save and reload the palette).

I see you are from Belgium, if you want, we can continue in french.

Thanks for replying.
I'm from the dutch part of belgium so i prefer english over french if you don't mind....
The problem with the newest version is that the jingle won't play when i press the button.
You see it getting pressed when i click on it, but as soon as i release the button it goes back to its original state.
No sound is heard...
I tryed different locations and different files but nothing works.

I just noticed that in the 30 black locations nothing works.
But in the botom 10 grey locations everything works fine.
It would be great if the black locations would work also...

Hmmm, can you try to open the palette.ini file and check if there is no empty lines a the beginning?

The file should begin only by a openning bracket ( this : [ ). I already saw a file with two empty lines at the beginning (I don't know why they was there) and it was making JP having black buttons. (A fix has been implented for the next version, to automaticallyu remove thees lines).
Remove these empty lines and start JP.

Hi again,

I found a (strange) way to get it working.
1) I load a file in a (black) location.
- I see the jingletitle and duration.
- when i click it, nothing happens.
2) I "clear" the box and now it remains grey.
3) I right-click and "load jingle"
- again i see the jingletitle and duration
- When i click it now IT WORKS !!

It is somewhat strange but it works somehow.
But i think it's not the way you intendet it...
I can live with it now, but maybe there is some way to make it work as intendet.

I checked the Palette.ini file and there was indeed 1 open line on top.
I deleted that line and it seems to work fine now.
