That makes me think about a workaround triggering videos
in another application like OBS via midi.
Is it possible to add a midi send to the jingle buttons?

Is it not easier to trigger OBS directly from a MIDI controller ?

Simple reason why I would like a midi out is because I plan to use Jingle Palette via touch screen.
A midi out on Jingle Palette would turn a touch screen into an excellent midi device
and open a lot of other opportunities like camera control etc. for my radio system.

I can not play video more than a small time (freezes after), but what you want would requiere that JP is seen as a MIDI Device by other apps.
Unless you know a third party software to link 2 apps with MIDI ?

I am using loopMIDI to create virtual midiports for each midi device and rtpMIDI for network midi connections.
Reaper handles all midi interconnections and is processing midi for further use like cam switching and ducker.

But there is a big part of programming to implement MIDI Output feature JP and see which buttons would be really usefull to send as output MIDI , so up to 120 jingle buttons, and STOP ALL. I don't think that the other buttons like Auto Mix, Prev/Next Palette, Auto repeat etc would be really pertinent.

I would be well satisfied for having midi out for just the jingle buttons.
