Bug in Duck caster

Hi testing your new software
Duck caster
The problem is a bug, my stream is on shoutcast V1
When you stream set like that it works, when you close app down reopen it it goes to shoutcast V2 as default
And of course it wont stream
Pleas can you make sure it stays in Shoutcast 1 when set

Also it would be good if you could have an mp3 record tick box so you could have a choice of recording wav or mp3

I changed some code so DC shoud not start with ShoutCastv2 instead of ShoutCastv1. Please re-download the installer.

Saving as mp3 is pointless because since we edit the file to remove the blank at the beginning and end (eventually maximize, remove clicks&pops for vinyl set), to get a clean recording, it would be like encoding once, then decoding, editing and re-encoding a second time, so, double data loss.

After reinstaling the software from your website
It hasent been updated, as it still comes back to V2
Perhaps you would change the vertion number to indicate its been has been changed when you finally solve it.
Also what we would be good if duckcaster would have the ability to update the app, without having to uninstall everything, and reinstall it and put a new one in,’ rather a notificaton the app has been updated either way at the moment it hasn’t worked please let me pleas let me know when it is solved best regards Mal

Something gone wrong when I built the installer, the exe file has not been taken, that's why it has not resolved the bug.
Please re-dowload it, it shoudl be ok now, I tested after install

About version number, there is only less than 30 downloads in the world, so it's like nothing. If someone has the same problem, he just have to re-download it

About update notifications (like JP), this is not planned, because:
- It's a big part of code to implent this (in Duck Caster like on the website)
- Duck Caster should not receive a lot of features like JPR does (in few words, updates will be rare)
- At the base, Duck Caster was a software I made just for me, with my needings, I only added some features (like shoutcast) to share it for peoples who are bored from BUTT etc

I added the download URL at the bottom of settings frame.

Thank you, that worked its a brilliant addition to having an alternative to but, what might good i stream to 25 stations it would be good to add multi encoder perticulars otherwise i would have 25 duckcasters on my dash board

Hmmm multiple casting is not planned, here too, it's a lot of coding to add something like that, and like I was saying previously, it's a customized (for me) software, I don't need to broadcast to multiple servers. Plus, how would act the Start Streaming button ? For all servers ? For selected servers ?

About JP, still working onto it, some new good features to become, some bugs fixed. Do you see a particular bug ? (open a new thread in the JP Help area)
